Travels at Twelve: Chasing the Wild Clematis
January 27, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
FREELinda Beutler, curator of the Rogerson Clematis Collection, is a firm believer that there is no substitute for seeing plants growing in the wild to truly understand how to make the most of them in a garden. This presentation follows Linda to Shika Shan in NW Yunan, China to find the wiley Clematis spooneri, through NW Georgia state looking at potentially undescribed species, and into the shale barrens of Virginia to find the unique clematis growing there.
