Thanksgiving Side Dishes
November 19, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Have you been serving the traditional mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and store bought cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving? If your Thanksgiving meal could use a little inspiration, join Education Programs and Events Assistant Mandie Curtis Banks to learn some fresh ideas for tasty side dishes for this year’s feast. Recipes will include balsamic-glazed green beans and pearl onions, maple-roasted acorn squash, and dried cherry and orange essence cranberry sauce. For dessert, Mandie will share the easiest pumpkin cake recipe which is sure to be a crowd pleaser. An ingredient list will be provided for all registrants in advance of the class so you can check your pantries or visit your local grocery store. This class will be fun and appropriate for all levels of home cooks. Your Thanksgiving meal will be all set, the only thing left to prepare is the turkey!
