Gentle Flow Yoga in the Garden
September 21, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Free for membersNature and yoga are a perfect match! Combine the healing power of nature and the mindful practice of yoga by joining local yoga teacher and Scott Arboretum Youth, Family, and Diversity Programs Coordinator Mandie Curtis Banks, in-person, for a gentle slow flow yoga class in our gardens. Soothed by the sights and sounds of nature we will align our mind, body, and spirit with the restorative setting of the gardens at the peak of fall beauty at the Scott Arboretum. You can expect to move your body in a gentle, comfortable way with an emphasis on safe alignment and yoga sequencing that integrates breath and meditative techniques.
For those members who prefer to practice yoga with a virtual platform, we will also be live streaming the classes. A Zoom link will be sent out the day before each class in a reminder email. You can choose whether you prefer to attend the class in-person or view the beauty of our gardens and participate in the class from the comfort of your own home.
Registration is free, but you must be a member of Scott Arboretum. Please click here to become a member.
