Delco Thrive Celebration at Scott Arboretum

The Delco Thrive Caravan rolls on to Swarthmore and the Scott Arboretum is joining the celebration! Check out our complete schedule of free and open to the public activities.

• From Dawn to Dusk – Visit the Gardens and Do a Scavenger Hunt

Come stroll the beautiful gardens and grounds of the Scott Arboretum and pick up a scavenger hunt for family fun at the Cunningham House brochure box at 500 College Ave. Our grounds are free and open to the public every day of the year!

• 10:30 – 11:30 am – Family Story and Yoga Hour

Join Mandie Curtis Banks (Youth, Family, and Diversity Programs Coordinator) for nature and yoga inspired stories, songs, poses, and mindful meditations in the beautiful Cherry Border at the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College. This event is suitable for families with children ages 3 and up. Children and caregivers are encouraged to participate together. Please bring yoga mats or large beach towels. This is a free event and no registration is necessary. Please note we will be adhering to social distancing guidelines between families. We ask that you come a few minutes early to allow for proper spacing.

• 11:30 am – 2 pm Children’s Nature Based Crafts

Join staff at the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College in the beautiful Cherry Border to make a nature based craft. This is a free, drop in event and no registration is required.
