Cool Season Container Design Workshop

$40 – $50This program is part of the Delco ARTS Week celebration.
Learn how to create and maintain container plantings with appeal throughout the cooler seasons with Horticulturist Josh Coceano. Discussion points include: plant choices and suggestions, container selection, and growing media preparation. Josh will share his favorite plant sources and have several demonstration containers planted for inspiration. Participants will receive plants to create their own container masterpiece at home.

About the Presenter
Josh Coceano served as the Scott Intern from 2010 to 2012 and was then promoted to Horticulturist. Josh Coceano hails from Mt. Crawford, Virginia – a small town in the Shenandoah Valley. Josh is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelors in Horticulture and a Master of Science in Education. Other work experience includes internships with the Hahn Horticulture Gardens in Blacksburg, Virginia and Stonecrop Gardens in Cold Spring, NY as well as time in the classroom teaching Agriculture Education classes to high school students and being a third grade classroom teacher.
