The Dr. Is In -The “Plant Doctor is In” program offers virtual plant healthcare advice to the College community, primarily to students. The clinic style of the event allows attendees to ask questions and share concerns about their houseplants with a plant care expert. Learn more.
Art In Nature– This annual contest is offered to all fulltime Swarthmore students to submit their unpublished art. The Scott Arboretum partners with the Swarthmore Art Department and the Office of Student Engagement to hold this contest encouraging: The artwork that best captures the spirit and essence of Scott Arboretum and Swarthmore’s natural surroundings, including the gardens or Crum Woods. Crum Woods – The Crum Woods Stewardship Committee (CWSC) supports and promotes the ecologically sound restoration of our campus woods. Biannual large scale planting and maintenance events are held in support of our woods. For more information on the CWSC, click here.
