Garden Grooving Family Yoga Class

Attention families! Join Mandie Curtis Banks for moving, grooving, and mindfulness all while exploring our big and beautiful planet. Yoga and nature inspired stories, poses, games, songs, and mindful meditations will allow our littlest yogis to reap the numerous benefits of a yoga practice all while becoming stewards of the earth. This class is designed for children ages 4 – 8 years old. Babies and toddlers are also welcome to join if a caregiver is registered and participates. It’s a yoga class the whole family can enjoy together!
All classes will be held outdoors if weather permits. In case of severe weather, a virtual option will be offered through Zoom. COVID safety protocols for physical distancing will be in place. Masks for participants over 2 years old are strongly encouraged.

Mandie Curtis Banks is the Youth, Family, and Diversity Programs Coordinator. She has had a career in the arts, education, and wellness fields for over 23 years. Mandie holds a B.A. in Theatre from West Chester University, an Elementary Education Teaching Certificate from Moravian College, and yoga teacher certifications in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Children’s Mindfulness and Yoga, and training in postnatal yoga.
